“Why doesn’t someone just make a gluten free version of this?”
There are so many incredible gluten free products available now compared to even a few years ago, but there are still a handful of foods that seem impossible to find.
So, I decided to have a little fun.
I used AI to imagine what some of my dream gluten free products would look like if they actually existed on grocery store shelves.

Häagen-Dazs Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream
Cookie dough ice cream is one of those flavours that can be surprisingly difficult to find when you’re gluten free.
I would love to see a classic Häagen-Dazs version made with rich vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips and big chunks of gluten free cookie dough.
I would buy this immediately.
Gluten Free Dunkaroos
If you grew up in the ’90s or early 2000s, you probably understand exactly why these made the list.
The little cookies, the icing and the nostalgia are such a perfect combination.
Imagine opening your lunchbox and finding gluten-free Dunkaroos that actually tasted like the original. Instant childhood healing.
Gluten Free Pillsbury Biscuits in a Tube
Sometimes you don’t want to bake biscuits from scratch.
You just want to pop open a refrigerated tube, place the biscuits on a tray and have warm, buttery biscuits ready a few minutes later.
This would be perfect for easy breakfasts, holiday dinners or any time you want something warm and comforting without doing all the work.
Gluten Free Goldfish Crackers
Honestly, why don’t these exist already?
Goldfish crackers are one of those snacks so many people grew up eating, and I think a gluten free version would be an instant hit with both kids and adults.
I can already picture myself eating an entire bag without realizing it.
Gluten Free Kit Kat
This might be the product I want most.
A crispy gluten free wafer covered in smooth milk chocolate that actually tastes like a classic Kit Kat would be so good.
There are some great gluten free wafer bars available, but there is something about that familiar Kit Kat snap that would be hard to beat.
What Gluten Free Product Would You Invent?
As much as this was just a fun experiment, it also reminded me how many classic products people with celiac disease still don’t have access to.
The gluten free market has come a long way, but there is definitely still room for more creativity.
