My Story

Welcome to Gluten Free VIP — I’m Kira, the founder.

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2008, after years of unexplained illness. Back then, gluten free living was frustrating, isolating, and filled with permanent markers and crossed fingers. There were barely any safe food options, and dining out felt like navigating a minefield. I’ve come a long way since then, and thankfully, so has the gluten free world.

Gluten Free VIP started with a simple idea — I wanted better labels. I was visiting my family and, as usual, stocking up on gluten free groceries to avoid cross-contamination. As I dug through drawers for a marker to label all my stuff, I thought, “There has to be a cuter, easier way to do this.” There wasn’t. So I made my own labels — ones that were practical, fun, and unmistakably mine. I started using them on everything from peanut butter jars to toasters. And people noticed.

Now, those little labels have grown into something bigger. Whether you’re labeling your kid’s lunchbox, organizing your pantry, or making sure your food stays safe at a shared event, Gluten Free VIP has tools to help you protect yourself — with a little personality.

But this journey isn’t just about stickers anymore.

These days, I also spend a lot of time on social media, sharing the real, everyday parts of living with Celiac Disease. From restaurant finds and product recommendations to tips, tricks, and the behind-the-scenes mental load of staying safe — I talk about it all. I also love testing out tech and gadgets that make gluten free life easier, and I share honest reviews and resources for the tools that are actually worth your time (and money).

Gluten Free VIP is here to make gluten free living feel a little more manageable — and a lot more human. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or decades into this journey, you’re not alone. I’m so glad you’re here.
